God Knows Me is the lesson for this week.
We want the kids to learn that God loves us no matter our shape or color. Maybe we could introduce the kids to another culture by bringing items or food from Mexico. Or we could make a puzzle by cutting out people from a magazine. Then cut these people into sections and the kids have to match up the bodies. Or we cut out people from around the world and kids place the people on the countries they belong to. Remember these are just some of my ideas. I know these kids don't get enough exposure to the outside world so any suggestion is welcome.
The Scripture is Psalm 139: 1-6. David wants to tell his reader that God knows everything about us and we are loved. David knows this because of a personal experience with God.
I know y'all will do great with the lesson.
