Lessons on Obedience/ August 2nd

This Sunday we will be teaching the kids about worshipping only one God.  The story of the Israelites worshipping the Golden Calf in Exodus will be examined.  Here is the link.

The lessons suggests drawing pictures of worshipping God.  This sounds a little far fetched.  Here is an out of the box idea I have: have the children form a cow with some clay.  Then explain to them the Israelites were worshiping something they formed with their own hands.  Then share how God created us.  Remember this is just my idea.

We want the kids to have an understanding of worship and God's jealousy.
